Patriotic Rosary

The Sixth Annual Patriotic Rosary was prayed on October 28 at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona. Sponsored by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Bishop Mark presided. He was joined by various public officials who offered a patriotic or historical reading at the beginning of each decade of the Rosary. Prayers were offered for the President of the United States, the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, the Governors of the United States, and for our country. The gathering included Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction.
