Join the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown for our second annual Women's Conference at Mount Aloysius College on Saturday, September 16, 2023! Enjoy presentations by our two wonderful speakers, Mary Castner and Kitty Cleveland, lunch and refreshments, time for reflection and prayer, and fellowship with the other women of our Diocese.

Mary Castner
Mary Castner grew up in a Catholic family in a small town in Eastern Pennsylvania. As a teenager, she discovered praise and worship, and began learning how to play the guitar. She went on to earn a degree in Theology and Catechetics from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, and now resides in Phoenix, Arizona as a full-time youth minister for Saint Teresa Parish.
Mary is the founder of The Father’s Heart praise and worship ministry at Saint Teresa Parish in Phoenix, and the co-founder of the “Don’t Shove The Dove” Catholic podcast on Spotify. For the past decade, she has travelled both domestically and internationally as a worship leader and speaker for numerous ministry events, conferences, and retreats.
Kitty Cleveland
Kitty Cleveland began her professional career as a lawyer, followed by a college professor. However, as she prayed for help through a family crisis in an adoration chapel in the late 90’s, she clearly heard God’s call to her to become a “music missionary.” Since that day, Kitty has released a staggering 12 CDs full of music and prayer. Her latest release, “Hail, Holy Queen,” was the first to reach a spot on the secular Billboard chart. She has also appeared on television, radio, in concert, and as an event speaker.
Today, Kitty lives in New Orleans with her husband and adopted daughter. Besides praying for encouragement and healing, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and oil painting. She is also working on her first book, discussing her father’s unjust imprisonment and dramatic release by the U.S. Supreme Court.
